The team
Say hi
We don't bite... well most of us anyway.
Your friendly, & reliable local salon
We deliver great experiences...
We believe that every visit to your favourite hairdresser should be a pleasant experience, not just a transaction. For us, the process matters just as much as the end results. Our stylists are highly trained to deliver on your expectations, whether you're after a trim, a new colour or a bouncy blowdry.
Our hairdressers are friendly and great conversationlists. They like nothing more than entertaining their clients. Our salons are warm, cosy, and designed to make you feel at home. We offer complimentary tea & coffee and our team has an unlimited supply of smiles to help you relax.
At Margaux Salon, our clients' satisfaction is truly our priority, as evidenced by the multiple awards we've won, and by the great feedback we're getting from our clients, with an average rating of 4.9/5.
...Consistently and reliably
Salons are too often unreliable. That's because many of them don't offer sufficient - if any - trainings to their staff, hire freelancer stylists without any vetting process, and pressurise them to hit their monthly targets.
Not here. We recruit our hairdressers based on their personality, not based on their skills. We want friendly and passionate people and we'll always favour a team player over an individualist top-performer. We then make it our duty to train them up to the highest standards. Each of our team members has a personnalised training plan, with monthly training sessions to help them grow.
We look after our team, so they can look after you. We foster a culture of happiness, care and fun. We do everything we can to ensure that our stylists have a great time at work. Treating our employees with the upmost respect, giving them splending working conditions and helping them grow is the right thing to do from a moral standpoint. It also sets expectations in terms of behaviour:
"My employees are my heroes. Our clients are their heroes"
Margaux, Founder
We take your feedback very seriously. Even with the best hairdressers and the most amazing hair products, things can go wrong. Miscommunications & mistakes happen. Hairdressing isn't an exact science. We listen to our clients, we take ownership of our mistakes and we always go above and beyond to ensure that you leave our salons happy.
A more sustainable approach to hairdressing, both for your hair and for the planet
In hairdressing, less is more
Less chemicals. The beauty industry has become complicated and over-chemicalised with major brands claiming all sorts of benefits for their products. However, studies show that mainstream hair products are loaded with harmful chemicals and synthetic ingredients.
We go back to the basics, with a limited range of natural and organic products. They're are free from parabens, SLS, phthalates, mineral oils, GMOs, and are always cruelty-free.
Less maintenance. Our hairdressers have perfected the balayage colouring technique, hand painted highlights or lowlights onto the hair to create the most natural effect. As the result is more blended, it requires far less maintenance than all-over bleach or highlights obtained with other techniques. Fewer visits to your local hair salon is not only a good news for your wallet, but also for your hair, which will be healthier and fuller.
Less waste. We acknowledge and embrace our responsibility towards our community, the planet and the future generations. That's why we've put ESG at the heart of everything we do, from using upcycled, locally crafted furniture, to recycling our waste. We're constantly launching new initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint, the latest one being the introduction of a new software, which, paired with connected scales, will allow us to measure and reduce colour waste.
